Main Purpose:
To ensure effective inventory management and streamlined procurement processes by tracking inventory levels, forecasting material requirements, managing vendor development, and executing cost-efficient procurement activities in compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Job Accountabilities:

Monitor and track inventory daily to prevent shortages and ensure uninterrupted operations.

Conduct physical inventory checks at rig locations and reconcile findings with system records.

Maintain accurate records of daily deliveries and shipments; analyze inventory trends to forecast future material requirements.

Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to implement FIFO practices for material issuance and storage.

Initiate procurement based on Minimum Stock Levels (MSL) and support inventory optimization initiatives.

Drive cost-reduction and value-addition efforts within the supply chain.

Prepare and evaluate Vendor Qualification Criteria (VQC) and maintain an updated Vendor List (VL) based on EOI (Expression of Interest) responses.

Develop procurement documents such as Approval Notes, Scope of Supply (SOS), and initiate PR (Purchase Requisition) processes in SAP.

Identify and evaluate new and existing suppliers for goods and services, collect quotations, and lead technical and commercial bid evaluations.

Create and manage material and service codes to support efficient procurement and inventory tracking.

Prepare and update annual Budget Estimates and Revised Estimates aligned with forecasted demand and actual utilization.

Monitor purchase order and work order lead times through close coordination with suppliers and the P&C (Procurement & Contracts) team.

Implement and improve inventory management techniques to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Support vendor development initiatives to strengthen quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Ensure full compliance with internal procurement policies and applicable legal and statutory requirements.
Qualification
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
Experience
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
