Engineering Coordinator ( Preferably Female )
Job Summary:
The Engineering Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the engineering department. This role ensures smooth coordination of maintenance requests, proper record-keeping, and communication between departments for efficient maintenance and repair operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and log all maintenance requests (guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house)
· Track preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution
· Maintain records of maintenance activities, work orders, equipment logs, and inventory
· Follow up on pending work orders and ensure completion
· Communicate with other departments regarding engineering-related issues
· Assist with procurement of tools, parts, and supplies
· Prepare reports and documentation for management review
· Support the engineering team with administrative tasks and documentation
· Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
· Handle internal calls and respond to urgent maintenance needs
Requirements:
· Previous experience in engineering or maintenance coordination preferred
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Proficient in MS Office and maintenance tracking systems
· Ability to multitask and work under pressure
· Knowledge of hotel maintenance operations is an advantage
· Flexible to work shifts if required
