Role Overview

We're seeking a strategic, results-driven Director to steer our sales engineering and high-growth initiatives. You'll blend deep electrical expertise with strong leadership to design and execute sales strategies, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the sales strategy across target markets, aligning with corporate objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performance team (account managers, business development, engineers) to hit revenue, margin, and customer-satisfaction targets.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to contract closing, while expanding strategic customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure compelling value, pricing, and delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulations; translate insights into differentiated offerings.
  • Produce accurate forecasts, budgets, and KPI dashboards, report regularly to executives.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety, and quality systems, champion safety and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events and briefs; cultivate a strong external presence.
  • Drive strategic partnerships, channel development, and pricing to maximise penetration and profitability.
Qualifications and Experience

Degree in electrical engineering, electromechanical, or related field; Master's or MBA a plus. Or a Trade electrical qualifications and product knowledge advantageous

  • Proven B2B sales track record in electrical solutions for OEM, Mining, Renewables, Materials Handling, Power Gen, Utilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership of high-performance teams with tangible revenue and margin outcomes.
  • Strong technical acumen; ability to translate complex electrical systems into compelling value propositions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, enterprise-level contract negotiations, and consultative selling.
  • Analytical, strategic thinker with CRM and sales analytics proficiency.
  • Comfortable in National multi-site settings, willing to travel as needed.
