Engineering Intern

Position Overview: C1S is looking for ambitious and highly motivated engineering students to join our team as a summer intern. This internship provides real-world, hands-on experience in the consulting engineering workplace, design project workflows, design and project management software, and how design professionals interact and impact the construction process. You will be assigned a mentor to work with and will learn through observation and instruction.

A Typical Day & Job Responsibilities:

• Support the design team with project administration activities

• Utilize design and project management software to accomplish assigned tasks

• Support the development of processes and procedures to improve team efficiency

• Prepare for and attend project meetings with clients and other design professionals

• Support construction administration with RFI and submittal management, site audits, etc.

• Participate in team-building activities

About You (Your Expertise):

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering

• Have a basic understanding of engineering concepts

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Self-motivated and eager to learn

• Able to commit to 8-10 weeks of full-time work
