Engineering Lead - Colleague Channels Platform

Friday 27 February 2026 Hybrid Working The purpose of the Engineering Lead is to work with the Lab Product Owner to provide effectively leadership and management of the teams in their Labs. Specifically, this requires setting the vision, mobilisation of the teams required to deliver it and ensuring effective delivery execution. With the Lab PO they are also responsible for all operational management activities including workforce plans, risk and issue mitigation and cost management. There is a particular focus on the ways of working and overall engineering experience, where the Engineering Lead is responsible for creating the right environment for effective delivery which will include the identification of blockers and action plans to remove them.

• Purpose of the Role:
  The Engineering Lead works alongside the Lab Product Owner to:
• Provide leadership and management of teams within the lab.
• Set the vision and mobilize teams for delivery.

  • Cost management
• Focus on improving engineering practices and delivery environments by identifying blockers and removing them.

  • Lead complex, multi-application change initiatives.
  • Manage roadmaps, work plans, budgets, scheduling, resource assignments, and release management.
  • Inspire and lead software development across multiple platforms and functions using agile principles.
