Engineering Manager

About the Role

Euro Mechanical is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager (CompEx) to lead our Habitat and Electrical & Instrumentation operations.The ideal candidate will be a certified CompEx Electrician with proven expertise in ATEX environments and hands-on experience in R&D, design, and maintenance of explosion-proof systems .

You will lead a team of engineers, drive innovation in hazardous area electrical solutions, ensure ATEX/IECEx compliance, and support the development of graduate-level engineers through structured mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians in hazardous area electrical systems.
• Design, assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot explosion-proof (Ex) systems and components.
• Support R&D projects — product testing, prototyping, and certification of ATEX/IECEx-compliant equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure continuous compliance and safety.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies to deliver technically sound, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.
• Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Instrumentation preferred).
• CompEx Qualification (mandatory).
• 5+ years of experience in engineering management or operations .
• Hands-on expertise with ATEX/IECEx standards and pressurized habitat systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and technical documentation.
