Project Engineer - Interior fit out Industry

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Engineer with experience in interior fit-out projects to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and completion of fit-out projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in day-to-day site operations and coordination of fit-out works.
• Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with designers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of works.
• Monitor and report project progress, quality, and compliance with approved drawings and standards.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure workmanship meets quality and safety standards.
• Prepare project documentation including RFIs, method statements, progress reports, and material approvals.
• Attend site meetings and assist in resolving technical and execution issues.
• Ensure all MEP and civil works are integrated seamlessly into the interior fit-out.
• Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure timelines are met.
• Support procurement by verifying BOQs, checking material specs, and coordinating deliveries.
• Manage snag lists and follow up on completion before handover.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in interior fit-out or related construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishing techniques, and construction practices.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in project management tools and software (AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in Hospital, commercial, or retail fit-out projects.
• Certification in PMP, LEED, or equivalent is a plus.
• UAE experience is Mandatory
