Engineering Manager

Job Responsibilities

Overall coordinate the whole process of project design, construction and technical scheme, communicate and coordinate with owners, supervisors, general contractors and subcontractors and subcontract to ensure the smooth promotion of the project.

Control the project schedule, quality, cost and safety, identify potential technical risks in advance, and organize the solution of major technical problems in the construction and design process.

Manage the design team, construction technical team and external consultants, formulate team work plans, arrange work tasks, and conduct performance assessment and skill training.

Organize technical review, drawing review and on-site technical disclosure, supervise the implementation of technical schemes, and ensure that the design and construction meet the requirements of relevant specifications and contract terms.

Be responsible for the management of project technical changes, review change applications, evaluate the impact of changes on schedule, cost and quality, and coordinate the approval process of changes with relevant parties.

Job Requirements

Education Background: Bachelor's degree or above in Architecture, Master's degree is preferred.

Work Experience: More than 20 years of relevant work experience in construction project design and technical management, among which more than 10 years of experience as an engineering manager or technical person in charge of overseas construction projects (Saudi Arabia/Middle East is preferred); experience in large-scale construction projects is preferred.

Professional Skills: Familiar with AMERICAN construction codes (IBC/BS) and local codes in Saudi Arabia/Middle East (such as SBC); proficient in project schedule management, quality management, cost control and safety management; able to independently solve major technical problems.

Comprehensive Abilities: Strong cross-cultural communication and coordination ability, able to communicate effectively with teams of different nationalities; strong risk prediction and crisis handling ability; good leadership and team management ability; proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing), able to work in English as the working language.

Others: SCE MEMBERSHIP Classification MUST BE consultant AND PMP certificate is a must
