Engineering Manager - KSA
We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager who shall responsible for planning, managing, directing, and controlling all engineering and detailed design activities of the project to ensure compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, KJO procedures, HCIS requirements, applicable Saudi Aramco Engineering Procedures (SAEP), international standards, approved schedules, and project quality requirements.
The role ensures timely production, review, approval, and submission of all engineering deliverables and supports procurement, construction, commissioning, and project handover.

YOUR ROLE
As a
Engineering Manager
you will:
Engineering Management
-
Establish and manage the overall engineering execution strategy for the project.

Lead all engineering and design activities from project initiation to final handover.

Ensure engineering execution complies with contractual obligations and approved project procedures.

Develop engineering resource planning and discipline allocation.
Engineering Deliverables Control
-
Prepare and control the Engineering Deliverables Register / Master Deliverables List (MDL).
-
Ensure all deliverables are prepared, reviewed, approved, and submitted as per approved schedule.

Monitor engineering progress against milestones.
-
Ensure submission compliance with document control requirements.
Design Compliance
-
Ensure all engineering works comply with: KJO Contract Requirements; Scope of Work (SOW); HCIS Directives (2017); Saudi Aramco Engineering Procedures (SAEP); Applicable Codes and Standards

Ensure design integrity and constructability.
Multi-Discipline Coordination
-
Coordinate all engineering disciplines including: Civil & Structural; Architectural; Mechanical; Electrical; Instrumentation & Control; Fire Protection; Telecom/Security Systems.

Ensure interdisciplinary coordination and clash resolution.
Technical review and approval
-
Review all engineering deliverables before submission.

Verify technical adequacy, completeness, and compliance.

Approve internal technical documents and discipline outputs.
Client Engineering Interface
-
Act as focal point for all engineering related communications with KJO.

Attend engineering review meetings, workshops, and technical clarification meetings

Coordinate and close engineering comments
Vendor & Procurement Support
-
Review vendor documents and technical submittals.

Support procurement in technical bid evaluations.
-
Coordinate material technical compliance.
Site Engineering Support
-
Provide engineering support during construction.
-
Review site technical queries (TQ/RFI).
-
Review and approve field design changes.
Engineering Change Management
-
Control engineering changes and design revisions.
-
Assess impact of engineering changes on schedule and cost.

Maintain revision control.
Studies, Surveys and Reports
-
Manage required engineering studies such as: : Site surveys, Utility surveys, Hazard studies, Constructability studies, Security systems studies, Specialized technical assessments.
Schedule Integration
-
Coordinate engineering schedule with procurement and construction schedules.

Ensure engineering supports procurement long-lead items.

Monitor engineering critical path.
Quality Compliance
-
Ensure engineering activities comply with Project Quality Plan (PQP).
-
Implement engineering quality assurance procedures.
-
Support audits and compliance reviews.
Risk Management
-
Identify engineering risks.
-
Develop mitigation measures.
-
Support project risk register updates.
Team Leadership
-
Lead discipline engineers and design teams.
-
Evaluate team performance.
-
Ensure competency and productivity.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
-
Minimum 12–15 years EPC project experience.
-
Must have at least 7 years in engineering management.
-
Oil & gas / industrial facilities experience required
-
Experience with KJO/ARAMCO projects preferred
-
Brownfield experienced preferred
Education / Training / Certifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Instrumentation or equivalent).
