 As a
 
 Scaffolding Engineer
 
 you will:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop scaffolding designs and calculations for EPC projects in oil &amp; gas facilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare detailed drawings, material take-offs, and specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., BS EN, OSHA) and client requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and safety officers to ensure timely execution.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 WHAT WE&rsquo;RE LOOKING FOR
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Experience

 Minimum 7 years of experience in scaffolding engineering for EPC projects in oil &amp; gas.
 </li>

 Education

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related field
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Expertise
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, load analysis, and safety regulations
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in AutoCad and scaffolding design software
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with EPC projects and HSE standards
 </li>

 Qualifications

 Must have a minimum of 8-10 years experience in HSE in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects/operations in the oil and gas petrochemical industries
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelors Degree in relevant Engineering OR Science OR HSE discipline
 </li>
 <li>
 NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certificate
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have Lead Auditor ISO 45001/ISO 14001 or equivalent certifications
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have Incident Investigation Techniques certificate
 </li>
 <li>
 Additional HSE trainings and certifications will be an added advantage
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Skills and Competencies
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioral aspects in the Oil &amp; Gas EPC business.
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to lead a team of HSE personnel such as HSE officers, Hygiene officers etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to develop and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE procedures / work instructions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Practical experience in implementation of SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant HSE procedures applicable to the SOW.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to implement practical H2S control measures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to conduct HSE audits and inspections.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to investigate incidents, identify immediate and root causes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to speak, read and write English with good communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Effective interpersonal and verbal &amp; written communication skills.
 </li>
