Workforce Welfare Officer

We are seeking a Workforce Welfare Officer to join our team and support workforce welfare compliance across large-scale EPC projects. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with UAE labour laws, international workforce welfare standards (IFC, ILO), and client requirements, while fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for the workforce.

Your Role

As a Workforce Welfare Officer , you will play a vital role in supporting workforce welfare compliance and engagement by:

• Ensuring compliance with UAE labour laws, MOHRE requirements, and international workforce welfare standards (IFC, ILO).
• Coordinating workforce welfare audits and maintaining audit-ready documentation, records, and reporting systems.
• Monitoring audit findings, compliance gaps, and corrective action plans.
• Supporting worker grievance mechanisms and welfare concerns.
• Conducting welfare inductions, awareness programs, and worker welfare forums.
• Preparing workforce welfare reports, statistics, WPS records, and subcontractor submissions.
• Coordinating with internal departments, subcontractors, clients, and auditors on workforce welfare requirements.
• Supporting worker wellbeing initiatives and happiness programs.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or heavy industries, preferably Oil & Gas.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Social Work, Industrial Relations, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Qualifications: Strong knowledge of UAE labour law and international workforce welfare standards (IFC, ILO), with exposure to Occupational Health & Safety. Experience supervising teams and managing large workforce populations.
