Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily engineering and maintenance operations
• Lead, supervise, and develop engineering teams and technical staff
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs
• Oversee engineering projects, renovations, and installations
• Ensure all equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely
• Prepare engineering budgets and control maintenance costs
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and project plans
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other departments
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Monitor inventory of engineering materials and spare parts
• Analyze technical issues and implement effective solutions
• Prepare reports, maintenance schedules, and operational documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and energy-saving programs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering field
• Proven experience in engineering management or maintenance management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent technical and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of engineering systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards
• Budget management and project coordination experience
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience in construction, hospitality, manufacturing, facilities management, or industrial operations
• Familiarity with local engineering regulations and compliance standards
• Experience handling large engineering teams and multiple projects

Working Conditions

• Office, plant, hotel, factory, or construction site environment
• May require emergency response and site inspections
