With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

Cloud SQL is part of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) database area that focuses on Relational Databases (RDBMS) a multi-billion dollar business opportunity and growth accelerator for other GCP products. One of the fastest growing product lines under Cloud SQL is CloudSQL Postgres. This product line will sustain the business growth by supporting key features around manageability, expanded extension footprint, and security features.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the team designing and developing GCP’s highly available, massively scalable PostgreSQL database.
• Define and build the blueprint for next-generation relational offerings at the forefront of the industry.
• Empower customers with a fully managed platform that removes operational overhead and maintenance.
• Anticipate market shifts and solve critical technical challenges to drive friction-free adoption.
