Engineering Project Manager

Position: Project Engineering Manager – Substation Design

Location: KSA (Jeddah, Dammam, Riyadh)

Experience: 12+ Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Electrical / Electrical & Electronics

Role Summary:

Responsible for leading engineering activities for high-voltage substation projects , ensuring schedule adherence, technical compliance, and cost efficiency through effective coordination and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee complete engineering delivery in line with project timelines and quality standards
• Review and approve primary and secondary engineering designs, drawings, and calculations
• Coordinate closely with planning, procurement, vendors, and site teams to support execution
• Manage interfaces across Civil, Structural, MEP, and Instrumentation disciplines
• Drive design improvements, value engineering, and technical optimizations

Technical Requirements:

• Proven experience in GIS/AIS substation projects up to 765kV with strong expertise in primary and secondary engineering, including protection, SCADA, earthing, cabling, and lighting.
• Hands-on experience in HV equipment selection (Transformers, Reactors, CBs, Isolators, CTs, PTs) with working knowledge of ETAP, PSCAD, CYMGRD, and project planning tools (preferred).
