What would you do? We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Power BI, data modelling, and backend data integration, and will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver impactful reports and dashboards. Build operational sites in desktop and mobile devices using HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks.
What are we looking for? • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI development. • Strong expertise in: o DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) o Power Query / M Language o Data modelling and relationships • Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data from relational databases. • Experience working with Power BI Service (cloud-based features) including sharing and embedding reports. • Ability to work independently and translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. • Experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse). • Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps). • Understanding of data governance, quality, and security practices.
Roles and Responsibilities: • Develop, publish, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. • Build efficient data models using DAX and Power Query (M language). • Connect Power BI to various data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, Azure, SharePoint, APIs). • Optimize dashboards and reports for performance and usability. • Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and KPIs. • Create and manage Power BI Workspaces, datasets, and gateways. • Implement row-level security (RLS) and access controls within Power BI reports. • Automate data refreshes and ensure data accuracy and report reliability. • Assist in data cleansing and transformation processes as needed.
