Engineering (SRE) Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead the Site Reliability Engineering team to achieve organizational growth and efficiency
• Oversee projects with a focus on stakeholder management, KPI tracking, and timely risk mitigation
• Support engineers in pursuing professional growth and career advancement
• Create and follow a strategic roadmap aimed at driving business success across the SRE domain
• Recruit and retain top-tier talent while allocating resources effectively
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and deliver customized technical solutions
• Define tasks, objectives, and project deliverables grounded in solution designs
• Design scalable Cloud architectures that enhance system resilience and operational efficiency
• Implement Cloud optimization practices like cost control, security protocols, and monitoring tools
• Communicate technical solutions effectively across diverse audiences including engineers and stakeholders
• Cultivate a team environment centered on high performance, innovation, and collaboration
• Partner with other departments to align technical strategies with overall company objectives
• Provide architectural leadership while balancing requirements for scalability, reliability, and performance
• Engage in pre-sales initiatives such as responding to client RFPs and delivering technical insights
• Ensure strategic management and retention approaches for technical tasks and project organization

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering role
• Significant leadership background in roles such as Architect, Manager, or Project Owner (minimum 3 years)
• Extensive hands-on experience in software development, Cloud solutions, and systems engineering
• Expertise in public Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including optimization strategies
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure management and deployment automation
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and tools for streamlined build workflows
• Proven competency in designing architectures for complex, scalable systems
• Background in AI/LLM trends with insights into productivity improvements for engineers
• Understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for secure Cloud operations
• Showcase of managing diverse project lifecycles from conception to delivery
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, monitoring strategies, and security protocols
• System thinking combined with critical decision-making capabilities
• Capability to engineer systems that meet performance, scalability, and reliability goals
• Excellent English communication skills at a B2+ level or higher for seamless collaboration

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications like AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or Google Cloud Developer
• Background in programming languages like Python, Java, or C# suitable for automation development
• Understanding of emerging technologies to complement Cloud advancements
