Engineering Technician

The Sr. Engineering Technician will support engineering, construction, and operations teams with project coordination and technical documentation. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Support AFE preparation, entry, approval tracking, and supplement documentation
• Assist with cost report evaluations to develop unit pricing for estimates and budgets
• Coordinate accrual updates with engineering, construction, and cost control teams
• Assist with project schedule updates using field and engineering input
• Support preparation and revisions of DBMs and Project Execution Plans (PEPs)
• Work with engineers and supply chain to ensure purchase orders are in place and tracked
• Maintain document control for construction and project close-out records
• Review and enter construction daily reports to track progress, manhours, and KPIs
• Maintain project and construction workload schedules
• Review invoices, update AFE/GL coding, and route for approval
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with yard managers and field teams
• Ensure all work aligns with company and client safety policies and procedures

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred
• 8+ years of industry-related technical support experience required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Experience with systems such as SAP, Ariba, Spotfire, DataNow, SiteView, and/or Power BI preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screening requirements, if applicable
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
