Senior Utility Engineer/ Project Engineer (Dubai Exp Only)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Utility Engineer / Project Engineer to manage and supervise utility works for a major RTA infrastructure project in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with consultants, authorities, and site teams to ensure successful execution of wet and dry utility works in accordance with project specifications and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities related to utility works.
• Plan and monitor site progress to ensure works are completed as per schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities for approvals, inspections, and technical matters.
• Supervise NDRC works, trenching, pipe laying, duct banks, manholes, and service diversions.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Ensure compliance with RTA, DEWA, Etisalat, Du, and Dubai Municipality standards.
• Coordinate with road, structure, and traffic teams for utility interface works.
• Monitor subcontractors and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and method statements.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are implemented on site.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and highlight risks and delays.
• Support authority inspections, NCR closures, and project documentation.
• Coordinate material delivery, resource planning, and site logistics for utility works.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in utility works for infrastructure/road projects.
• Dubai experience is mandatory (RTA projects preferred).
• Strong experience in wet utilities (Drainage, Sewer, Irrigation, Waterline) and dry utilities (DEWA, Etisalat/Du, Telecom duct works).
• Experience in DI, GRP, HDPE pipelines, manholes, chambers, duct banks, and NDRC works.
• Good knowledge of RTA, DEWA, Etisalat/Du, Dubai Municipality standards and authority procedures.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to handle site execution, subcontractors, and authority coordination independently.
