Description
SAIC is seeking an Engineer Technician for shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands.
Job Duties:
- Assist with the planning, development, and execution of stage 4 and 5 test procedures development and test execution for shipboard C5ISR systems.
- Utilizes specialized test equipment to complete C5ISR Stage 4 and Stage 5 testing.
- Works with the multidisciplinary technical team supporting engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly of C5ISR systems.
- Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts using Autocad and PDF formats to perform testing, checkout and trouble shooting functions.
- Prepares engineering documentation, reports, drawings (sketches/flow charts/diagrams/schematics).
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:

AA Degree in related discipline and three (3) years or more relevant experience with one or more shipboard C5ISR systems: radio communication racks, Interior Communications(Alarm/Saferty/Warning), shipboard CGOne/Unclass/SIPRNET LANs, Surface Search Radar, Navigation Distribution system, Integrated Bridge System Or, High School and five (5) years related experience with relevant certification.
Required Security Clearance and Certifications:

Must have an active Secret clearance on first day of employment.

Familiar with utilizing C4ISR/C5ISR Interface Control Documents, Block diagrams, and Functional Interface Drawings.
Desired Skills:

Experience with MIL-STD-2106 Development of Shipboard Industrial Test procedures.

Prior experience utilizing Autocad.

Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) IA Level II - Security+ certification, or CSSIP, Network+, A+ or equivalent.

Integrated Bridge System.
