Online ESL Teacher (Remote – Korean Students)

Job Responsibilities

• Teach online English lessons using a structured curriculum and provided materials for Korean students of various age groups
• Deliver engaging, interactive lessons that build speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
• Lead activities that promote communication, participation, and student confidence
• Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Complete daily class assessments and required reports accurately and on time
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet different learning styles and proficiency levels
• Create a positive, supportive learning environment
• Conduct lessons in 25-, 15-, and 7-minute formats based on student needs
• Use Zoom and other digital tools effectively to enhance student engagement
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and reliability at all times

Required Experience

• Previous ESL teaching experience preferred
• Strong understanding of ESL teaching methods and best practices
• Comfortable using online teaching platforms and digital tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging, student-centered lessons
• Experience teaching one-on-one classes and supporting individual learning goals
• Proven ability to help students demonstrate measurable progress
• Experience teaching beginner-level students is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required)
• Must be a citizen of the U.S., Canada, or the U.K.
• Stable internet connection via Ethernet (Wi-Fi only is not permitted)
• High-quality headset with a microphone (earbuds not allowed)
• Valid government-issued ID (passport or driver’s license)
• Professional home workspace with a clean, appropriate background
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and conduct
• Prior teaching, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring experience preferred
• ESL certification is a plus, but not required

Work Schedule

• Evening Shift: 18:00 – 24:00 KST (05:00 – 11:00 AM EST)
• Must be available for at least 4 consecutive hours per day
• Required schedule: Monday to Friday (non-negotiable)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
