English as a Second Language Tutor

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach lessons based on students’ age, level, and background.
• Lead interactive activities to build English skills.
• Monitor student progress and give clear, constructive feedback.
• Use multiple teaching methods to support different learning needs.
• Maintain a positive and respectful online classroom.
• Teach online classes in 25-, 15-, and 7-minute formats.
• Use digital tools to support learning and engagement.
• Meet professional standards for punctuality, reliability, and preparation.
• Follow company teaching policies and guidelines.
• Complete reports and administrative tasks accurately and on time.

Required Experience

• Experienced ESL instructor with proven teaching strategies.
• Skilled in online teaching platforms and digital learning tools.
• Strong communicator who builds positive student rapport.
• Creates a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Effectively manages classrooms and student behavior.
• Delivers clear, well-structured lessons.
• Experienced teaching beginner-level students using adaptable methods.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (Required).
• Must be a citizen of the U.S., Canada, or the U.K. (Applicants from other countries will be rejected immediately.)
• Stable landline or Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi alone is not acceptable).
• Working headset with a microphone (No earbuds allowed).
• Valid identification (Passport or Driver’s License).
• Professional workspace setup with a clean, appropriate background.
• Must maintain a professional demeanor and attire at all times.
• Teaching experience (including homeschooling, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring) is preferred but not required.
• ESL teaching certifications or credentials are a plus but not mandatory.

Work Schedule:

PM Shift: 18:00 – 24:00 KST (04:00 – 10:00 AM EST)

• Must commit to a minimum of four-hour block shifts, five days per week (Monday–Friday). No Exceptions!!!

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
