English Language Teacher

Job Title: English Language Teacher – Kindergarten & Primary Grades
Location: Arete International School

Position Overview:

Arete International School is seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced English Language Teacher for Kindergarten and Primary Grades. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong command of English, and a proven track record of working with international curricula such as Oxford, Cambridge, IB PYP, or other globally recognized educational frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate English language lessons.
• Develop students' foundational skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Integrate phonics, storytelling, and interactive methods into teaching.
• Foster creativity, critical thinking, and a love for language in young learners.
• Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning needs and language abilities.
• Maintain accurate student records, including assessments and progress reports.
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a holistic learning experience.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Teaching certification or diploma in early childhood/primary education.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
• Familiarity with international curricula (Oxford,Cambridge/IB/other).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools to support learning.
• A warm, approachable, and child-centered teaching style.
