The English Teacher is responsible for teaching reading, writing, grammar, literature, and communication skills to students. The teacher designs engaging lessons that promote language development, critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication, while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver English language and literature lessons according to the curriculum.
• Teach reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, vocabulary, and oral communication.
• Introduce students to a variety of literary works including prose, poetry, drama, and novels.
• Use diverse teaching strategies such as discussions, projects, presentations, and technology-based learning.
• Encourage critical analysis, creative expression, and appreciation of literature.
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, essays, and classroom participation.
• Provide constructive feedback to support student growth and improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and submit progress reports.
• Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Stay updated on modern teaching methodologies and integrate them into lessons.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Teaching certification or relevant license (as per regional requirements).
• Strong command of the English language (both spoken and written).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in classroom management and lesson planning.
• Ability to integrate technology into teaching practices.
