English Teacher

Job Summary:
The English Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging English lessons that meet curriculum standards, foster a love for reading and writing, and support students in developing strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop lesson plans in accordance with the school curriculum.
• Teach grammar, literature, writing, and communication effectively.
• Assess, record, and report on students’ progress and performance.
• Prepare and administer tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Provide individual support to students to improve their learning outcomes.
• Encourage participation in debates, drama, reading clubs, and other English-related activities.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and discipline.
• Collaborate with colleagues, attend staff meetings, and participate in professional development.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in English, Education, or related field.
• Teaching certification (if required by school/region).
• Proven experience in teaching English at [primary/secondary/higher secondary] level.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Creativity and ability to make lessons interactive and engaging.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
