Job Description:

The English Teacher at our ICSE school plays a vital role in shaping the language and literary skills of our students. The primary responsibilities and duties of the English Teacher include, but are not limited to:

• Curriculum Delivery:

Designing and implementing effective English language and literature curriculum aligned with ICSE standards.

Planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Integrating language skills such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking into lesson plans.

• Assessment and Evaluation:

Developing appropriate assessments to measure students' language proficiency, comprehension, and critical thinking skills.

Providing timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic performance and progress.

Conducting periodic assessments and examinations as per school and ICSE guidelines.

• Classroom Management:

Creating a positive and conducive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.

Managing classroom behavior effectively and promoting mutual respect among students.

• Literary Analysis and Appreciation:

Introducing students to a variety of literary genres, authors, and texts from different periods and cultures.

Guiding students in analyzing and interpreting literary works, developing insights, and writing critical essays.

• Language Skills Development:

Focusing on developing students' language skills including grammar, vocabulary, syntax, and style through structured exercises and activities.

Encouraging creative writing, public speaking, and debating skills among students.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) and MA in literature or higher education in English in the related field.
• Previous teaching experience in ICSE or similar curriculum schools is advantageous.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Passion for teaching and fostering a love for literature and language among students.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to use technology effectively for teaching and learning purposes.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
