English Teacher

Job Title: English TeacherDepartment: AcademicsReports To: Head of Department / PrincipalJob Summary:

The English Teacher is responsible for teaching English language and literature, and for developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, and comprehension skills in line with the prescribed curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English grammar, vocabulary, literature, and comprehension
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids
• Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
• Conduct classwork, homework, tests, and examinations
• Evaluate and maintain student performance and progress records
• Improve students’ pronunciation, fluency, and writing skills
• Encourage creative writing, debates, and language activities
• Provide remedial support to slow learners
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
• Communicate with parents regarding academic progress
• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school activities
• Follow school policies, rules, and academic calendar

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation/Post Graduation in English
• B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification (as per school norms)

• Excellent command over English language
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to make language learning engaging and interactive
• Creativity, patience, and student-centered approach
• Basic computer and digital teaching skills

• Fresher or experienced candidates may apply

Working Hours:

• As per school schedule

Salary:

• As per school norms and experience

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
