Position Title: Science Teacher Department: Academics Grade Level: 7th &amp; 5th Reporting To: Academic Coordinator / PrincipalJob Summary:The Science Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective science lessons aligned with the school curriculum. The teacher will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning in students while ensuring a safe and stimulating classroom environment.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured science lessons in accordance with the prescribed syllabus.</li><li>Teach key topics including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science as per grade-level requirements.</li><li>Develop lesson plans, teaching aids, and lab activities that make learning interactive and enjoyable.</li><li>Conduct experiments and demonstrations safely, ensuring proper use of lab materials and equipment.</li><li>Evaluate and assess student progress through classwork, assignments, projects, and tests.</li><li>Maintain accurate student records and report academic performance to parents and school authorities.</li><li>Encourage students to explore and inquire through practical applications and scientific reasoning.</li><li>Participate in school events, science fairs, and academic enrichment activities.</li><li>Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to integrate science with other subjects where possible.</li><li>Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Science (B.Sc. / B.Ed. in Science) or higher qualification in the subject area.</li><li>Experience: Minimum 1&ndash;3 years of teaching experience at middle school level preferred.</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.</li><li>Excellent communication and classroom management skills.</li><li>Ability to engage students through creative teaching methods.</li><li>Proficiency in using technology for teaching and assessment.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;10,000.00 - &#8377;20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
