ob Description: Social Studies (S.S.) TeacherPosition: Social Studies TeacherDepartment: AcademicsReporting To: Head of Department / PrincipalRoles & Responsibilities:

• Teach Social Studies subjects (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans.
• Use interactive teaching methods, activities, maps, charts, and digital tools to enhance learning.
• Assess and evaluate students’ performance through tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
• Encourage critical thinking, civic awareness, and global understanding among students.
• Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school events.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ academic progress and behavior.
• Support school policies, rules, and academic standards.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies / History / Geography / Civics or related subject.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory/preferred as per school norms).
• Teaching experience in a recognized school is preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.

• Ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
• Student-friendly and disciplined approach.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in using teaching aids and educational technology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
