Teacher of Science

Job Description: Science TeacherPosition: Science TeacherDepartment: AcademicsReporting To: Head of Department / PrincipalRoles & Responsibilities:

• Teach Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology / General Science) as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lesson plans aligned with academic standards.
• Conduct practicals, experiments, and demonstrations in the science laboratory following safety norms.
• Encourage inquiry-based learning and develop scientific thinking among students.
• Assess students through tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and board examinations (if applicable).
• Maintain discipline and create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic performance.
• Follow school rules, academic calendar, and institutional policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with specialization in relevant subject.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory/preferred as per school norms).
• Prior teaching experience in a recognized school is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong subject knowledge and practical demonstration skills.
• Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts.
• Effective classroom and laboratory management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with smart boards, digital tools, and modern teaching methods.

• As per school schedule and academic calendar.

Salary & Benefits:

• As per school norms and experience.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
