Job Overview

We are searching for a passionate, dedicated, and dynamic English Teachers to join our team. The successful candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the American curriculum. The teacher will guide and support students in primary and middle school, helping them achieve academic success and develop a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum standards, ensuring the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of students.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate and explore.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents, and implementing individualized strategies to support diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a collaborative and respectful classroom culture that promotes inclusivity and positive behaviour.
  • Actively participate in professional development, staff meetings, and collaborative planning sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices into lessons to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Support extracurricular activities and contribute to school events as needed.
Key Skills
  • Strong understanding of the American curriculum and ability to adapt it to meet students' needs in an international context.
  • Expertise in developing and organizing engaging lesson plans that are clear, focused, and achievable within the academic year.
  • Proficiency in maintaining a positive classroom environment through effective behaviour management techniques and fostering a respectful, collaborative atmosphere.
  • Ability to tailor teaching strategies and materials to support various learning styles, abilities, and cultural backgrounds, ensuring all students achieve their potential.
  • Skilled in assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and utilizing assessment data to guide instructional planning and identify individual learning needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. Proficiency in English is required, with a preference for native level or near-native level English speakers.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
  • Commitment to student development and academic excellence
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting, ideally within the American Curriculum.
  • Proficiency in English; native level or near-native level English speaker preferred
