Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum standards, ensuring the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of students.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate and explore.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents, and implementing individualized strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Foster a collaborative and respectful classroom culture that promotes inclusivity and positive behaviour.
- Actively participate in professional development, staff meetings, and collaborative planning sessions.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices into lessons to enhance learning outcomes.
- Support extracurricular activities and contribute to school events as needed.

- Strong understanding of the American curriculum and ability to adapt it to meet students' needs in an international context.
- Expertise in developing and organizing engaging lesson plans that are clear, focused, and achievable within the academic year.
- Proficiency in maintaining a positive classroom environment through effective behaviour management techniques and fostering a respectful, collaborative atmosphere.
- Ability to tailor teaching strategies and materials to support various learning styles, abilities, and cultural backgrounds, ensuring all students achieve their potential.
- Skilled in assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and utilizing assessment data to guide instructional planning and identify individual learning needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. Proficiency in English is required, with a preference for native level or near-native level English speakers.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
- Commitment to student development and academic excellence
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting, ideally within the American Curriculum.
- Proficiency in English; native level or near-native level English speaker preferred
