English Teacher CBSE Grades 6 to 12

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons as per CBSE curriculum guidelines
• Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and literature effectively
• Design and evaluate worksheets, assignments, and assessments
• Prepare students for internal assessments, periodic tests, and board examinations
• Maintain accurate academic records and student progress reports
• Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
• Participate in school meetings, training programs, and academic planning
• Support co-curricular and extracurricular activities as required

Qualifications & Experience

• Post Graduates degree in English / Literature
• B.Ed. qualification (mandatory as per CBSE norms)
• Minimum [3-4] years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred
• Strong command of spoken and written English
