• Location: Chattanooga, TN 37405 – near The Rosecomb on 921 Barton Ave

• Preferred start date: October 20th, 2025

• Lesson format: Face-to-face, in-person

Details

• Availability: Wednesday, between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm (EST)

• Lesson Frequency: 1 time per week

• Lesson Duration: 1 hour each

• Current level: Low beginner

• Native/other languages: German (native), Polish

• Goals:

  • Learn English for daily communication

  • Build confidence to interact with others in the community

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured beginner-level lessons with a focus on communication

• Incorporate role-play and real-life scenarios to practice everyday English

• Support vocabulary building, listening comprehension, and speaking confidence

• Provide homework or practice activities to reinforce learning

• Adapt lessons based on student progress and needs

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in English

• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, linguistics, or related field

• Experience teaching adults preferred

• Ability to create a supportive and motivating learning environment
