English Teacher Middle Section

Key Responsibilities:

• Lesson Planning & Delivery – Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
• Language Skills Development – Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Grammar & Composition – Teach grammar, sentence structure, paragraph writing, essays, and creative writing.
• Literature Instruction – Teach prose, poetry, and drama; encourage critical thinking and interpretation skills.
• Assessment & Evaluation – Prepare quizzes, tests, assignments, and examinations; provide constructive feedback.
• Classroom Management – Maintain discipline and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Remedial Support – Identify learning gaps and provide additional support to struggling students.
• Co-curricular Activities – Organize debates, speech competitions, reading sessions, and literary activities.
• Parent Communication – Attend PTMs and communicate academic progress effectively.
• Record Keeping – Maintain attendance, assessment records, and academic documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English / Education or relevant field.
• B.Ed. / M.Ed. preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in Middle Section.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
