English Teacher

The International School of Abu Dhabi is seeking a forward-thinking, creative, and innovative English Teacher to join our high-performing secondary team.

The start date for this position is August 2026.

About The Role

All students- from Early Years Foundation Stage through to IGCSEs and A-levels-follow the English National Curriculum. The successful candidate will inspire students of all ages and abilities, maintaining high expectations for achievement across all classes. The teacher will build and maintain positive relationships with parents as a key part of maximizing student progress.

About You

• Passionate teacher with a positive mindset, continuously seeking improvement.
• Strong experience with the UK national curriculum; additional experience in international education is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, able to work well with all members of the community.
• Strong focus on becoming the best teacher you can be, willing to participate in extra curricular activities and develop the school culture of inspiration, enjoyment and success.
• Good interpersonal skills and confidence to build strong working relationships.
• Flexibility and open mindfulness to adapt quickly to a fast paced international environment.
