Royal Chapter is looking for a passionate, experienced, and enthusiastic PYE/SYE English Teacher for Grades 2–6 who can inspire students through engaging and interactive teaching practices. The ideal candidate should be committed to creating a positive learning environment that develops students’ confidence, creativity, communication, and strong language skills.
The role requires a teacher who can effectively teach English language and literature concepts while encouraging critical thinking, independent learning, and active classroom participation.
Eligibility Criteria & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a relevant field
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in the Cambridge System (preferred)
- Strong command over spoken and written English
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
- Ability to deliver engaging, interactive, and student-centered lessons
- Strong understanding of grammar, comprehension, creative writing, and language development
- Passion for teaching young learners and supporting their academic growth
- Ability to plan creative classroom activities and differentiated learning strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with parents and colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English to students from Grades 2–6 in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary, and comprehension skills
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and classroom activities
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication among students
- Monitor student progress and maintain academic records regularly
- Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment
- Identify individual learning needs and provide academic support where required
- Coordinate with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and progress
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, trainings, and academic planning sessions
