Core Responsibilities
- Foundational Literacy: Develop core reading, phonics, and writing skills, fostering a strong linguistic base and a love for storytelling.
- Analytical Instruction: Lead students through the critical deconstruction of complex texts and the mastery of diverse academic writing styles.
- Curriculum Implementation: Design and deliver lesson plans aligned with Cambridge International standards and learner attributes.
- Assessment & Progress: Conduct regular evaluations, providing detailed feedback to guide students toward meeting international benchmarks.
- Administrative Excellence: Maintain accurate records of student achievement and prepare high-quality resources using MS Office and school ERP systems.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Literature, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience teaching within a Cambridge-aligned school environment is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English proficiency.
- Professionalism: Ability to coordinate effectively with school leadership and engage professionally with the school community.
- Tech Literacy: Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for academic reporting and resource creation.
