Job Description:

The junior Translator will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's ability to communicate effectively across diverse linguistic and cultural landscapes. This entry-level position requires an individual proficient in translating documents, reports, and other materials from one language to another while maintaining context, tone, and intent. The successful candidate will exhibit strong research skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in translations and will possess the ability to work collaboratively with senior translators and project managers. Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in translation.
  • Proficiency in at least two languages, including English as a primary or secondary language.
  • Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and stylistic conventions in the source and target languages.
  • Familiarity with translation software and tools, including CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ).

  • Manage time effectively to meet strict turnaround times for multiple translation projects.
  • Engage with feedback from senior team members to continuously improve translation techniques and skills.
  • Assist in developing resources for translation best practices and language use within the organization.
  • Stay informed about updates in translation tools and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure adherence to confidentiality protocols with sensitive material.
  • Maintain records of completed translations and any revisions for future reference.
