Enrollment Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

The Enrollment Business Analyst is primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of business requirements, business rules, and operational processes for the Enrollment department. This includes documenting and analyzing business processes, policies, and creating actionable reports for plan leadership. The responsibilities of the position include:

• Write clear and well-structured business requirements and documentation.
• Elicits, documents, analyzes, communicates, and validates requirements concerning member enrollment processes.
• Develops recommendations for improving the efficiency and performance of processes.
• Provides oversight for existing and new programs/initiatives as assigned by management.
• Conducts root cause review of issues and recovery action steps.
• Researches and coordinates responses to various reports and audits.
• Analyzes the needs of the organization with the commitment to design and implement solutions that best support the needs of the business.
• Perform data discovery and review for various departmental reporting and analysis.

Education/ Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of previous business analysis or system analysis experience in an operations environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and recommending solutions.
• Ability to translate technical concepts & information to non-Technical Stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Requirement writing experience preferred.
• Microsoft Access and/or SQL query experience preferred.
