ADMISSIONS/ENROLLMENT REP FOR CTE


Job Title: Admissions Representative / Enrollment Representative Reports To: College Director Position Type: Full-Time


Job Summary:

The Admissions Representative is responsible for recruiting and enrolling qualified students into the college's programs: Medical Assisting, Building Trades Technician, Business Operations, Medical Massage Therapy, Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technician. This role involves guiding prospective students through the entire admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, by providing information, building relationships, and ensuring a positive experience.


In addition to your admissions/enrollment duties, your flexibility and teamwork help maintain a supportive, student-focused environment. Key Responsibilities:


  • Student Recruitment & Outreach: Implement recruitment strategies for a wide territory, which may include visiting high schools, attending college fairs, and developing community partnerships.
  • Student Advising: Conduct interviews with prospective students, provide accurate information on academic programs, admission requirements, and career outcomes. Explain costs, financial aid, and scholarship processes.
  • Application Management: Guide students through the application process, verify application materials, and follow up on incomplete items via phone, email, and text.
  • Events & Presentations: Represent the college at recruitment events, conduct campus tours, orientations, and deliver presentations to both small and large groups.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with prospective students, parents, high school counselors, and community organizations.
  • Data Management: Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to contact, track, and record all interactions with prospective students (LeadSquared is the system/platform that is used by the College for Technical Education.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Associate’s degree or higher.
  • Three or more years of experience in student recruitment, territory management, or sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, for events.

Experience working with a CRM system for student recruitment (CTE uses the platform LeadSquared).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google applications, and video conferencing technology (ZOOM, TEAMS, Google Meet).
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation to travel to and from recruitment appointments.

Multi-lingual abilities (Spanish is frequently noted as a plus).


Compensation & Benefits:


  • The annual compensation is in the $40,000-$50,000 range (depending on experience).
  • Benefits include health insurance, paid holidays, retirement plan which included matching funds up to 5%, an HSA card, short-term disability, long-term disability, Tuition discount for immediate family members, and sick days are accrued monthly.
