Recruitment & Enrollment Coordinator

12-Month Position | Salary: $45,000-$55,000
Position Overview
The Recruitment & Enrollment Coordinator is a key member of the school's operations and outreach team. This role leads student recruitment, manages community engagement, and oversees the full enrollment cycle. The ideal candidate is outgoing, tech-savvy, skilled in communication and social media, and confident representing the school in both online and in-person settings.
Recruitment, Outreach & Community Engagement
Serve as the school's primary ambassador at community events and partner locations.
Build relationships with daycares, early childhood centers, community groups, and local businesses.
Lead school tours, open houses, and info sessions.
Identify new outreach opportunities to support enrollment goals.
Travel to events and outreach sites as needed.
Social Media, Communications & Branding
Manage and grow the school's social media presence with engaging content.
Communicate promptly and professionally across phone, email, and social platforms.
Support communication campaigns for enrollment deadlines and school events.
Ensure all messaging reflects the school's mission and brand.
Enrollment Coordination (Avela Enrollment Software)
Manage applications, lotteries, waitlists, and registration.
Use Avela or similar platforms to maintain accurate enrollment data.
Collect required documents and ensure compliance with state and charter regulations.
Keep detailed, up-to-date records and communicate next steps clearly to families.
Family Engagement & Support
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective families.
Guide families through the application and onboarding process.
Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition for new students.
Data, Reporting & Compliance
Prepare enrollment and waitlist reports weekly/monthly.
Track recruitment data and identify trends for planning.
Maintain accurate documentation, including residency, immunizations, and required records.
Bachelor's degree.
1-2 years in recruitment, enrollment, customer service, outreach, or school operations (charter experience preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong social media and content-creation skills.
Tech-savvy; Avela experience strongly preferred.
Reliable transportation; ability to work some evenings/weekends.
