Job Title: Enterprise AI trainer
Location: San Jose, CA/Austin, TX (Hybrid- 2 days onsite in a week)
Role overview
You’ll design, deliver, and scale training that takes employees from “what is a system prompt?” to “shipping a reliable workflow with guardrails.” You’ll run live workshops, labs, and office hours; build self-serve curricula; and partner with product, security, legal, and HR to embed best practices. Think practitioner first, evangelist second.
What you’ll do
- Design multi-level curricula (Foundations ? Advanced) for Claude for Work, ChatGPT Enterprise, and Perplexity Enterprise: prompt patterns, tool usage, retrieval/knowledge integration, and advanced workflows (Assistants, structured output, evals).
- Deliver hands-on training: live workshops, role-based labs, “prompt clinics,” build days, and cohort programs for PM, Eng, Ops, CX, Risk/Compliance, Legal, and Marketing.
- Operationalize enablement: publish playbooks, quick-start guides, and reusable prompt kits; create tool-specific checklists for data handling, safety, and governance.
- Drive adoption & behavior change: build certification paths, community of practice, and office hours; partner with managers to embed AI goals in team OKRs.
- Measure impact: define learning objectives and track outcome metrics (time saved, quality lift, deflection rates, cycle time). Instrument training with pre/post assessments and scenario-based evaluations.
- Governance & safety: teach red-teaming basics, content safety, bias and hallucination mitigation, data minimization, and proper use of enterprise features (SSO/SCIM, audit logs, data controls).
- Partner cross-functionally: align with Security, Legal, and Privacy on policy; with Product/Platform on roadmap and feature rollouts; with HR/L&D on LMS integration and compliance training.
- Localize & scale: adapt materials for regions/lines of business; support asynchronous learning with micro-modules, recordings, and simulations.
- Continuously improve: analyze usage telemetry and feedback to iterate curricula; publish a quarterly enablement report with insights and next bets.
Example programs you’ll run
- Foundations (2 hrs): enterprise features, prompt hygiene, safe usage, quick wins per role.
- Advanced labs (3–4 hrs): structured prompting, tool use/API connectors, evals & regression tests, RAG and knowledge usage patterns.
- Perplexity Enterprise for research (90 min): source vetting, citations, query strategy, and competitive intelligence workflows.
- Manager track (60–90 min): setting AI adoption OKRs, reviewing prompt outputs, and coaching for quality.
- Certification: Level 1 (Foundations), Level 2 (Role), Level 3 (Builder/Champion).
What you’ll bring
- 5–8+ years in enterprise training, L&D, solutions consulting, sales engineering, or product enablement; you’ve led technical workshops with mixed audiences.
- Demonstrated expertise with Claude for Work, ChatGPT Enterprise, and Perplexity Enterprise (admin + practitioner), including prompt engineering and evaluation techniques.
- Strong facilitation and storytelling; you can make guardrails sound exciting and “show, don’t tell” with live builds.
- Familiarity with security/privacy concepts (SSO/SCIM, data retention, PII handling, GDPR/SOC 2 expectations) and how they map to enterprise AI features.
- Comfort with lightweight technical artifacts: markdown docs, prompt repos, CSV test sets, basic YAML/JSON schemas for structured outputs.
- Experience instrumenting programs with metrics and assessments; you bias toward measurable outcomes over seat time.
- Bonus: LMS administration, instructional design credentials, localization at scale, or background in fintech/risk.
Tools you’ll use
- Platforms: Claude for Work, ChatGPT Enterprise (incl. Assistants), Perplexity Enterprise (Collections, Citations).
- Admin/Gov: SSO/SCIM, workspace policies, audit logs.
- Enablement stack: LMS (e.g., Workday/Docebo), Confluence/Notion, Miro, Looker/Tableau (impact dashboards), GitHub/SharePoint for prompt kits.
