ENTERPRISE APPLICATION MANAGER

Job Purpose :
The job holder oversees the performance, integration and continuous improvement of critical third-party business applications. This role ensures these applications effectively support and optimize business processes, align with user needs, maintain high availability and security, and deliver strategic value. By leading technical management, stakeholder collaboration, and innovation initiatives, the manager drives operational excellence and maximizes the enterprise-wide benefits of these systems outside the core ERP environment.

Key Results Area :
1.Maintain optimal performance, reliability, and continuous availability of all assigned third party business enterprise applications through proactive monitoring support.

2.Design, implement, and manage the underlying system design for non-ERP applications, whether hosted on-premise or in the cloud.

3.Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements to ensure that implemented solutions align with organizational needs.

4.Oversee technical development, customization, and seamless integration of non-ERP applications with other enterprise systems, including ERP.

5.Enforce security standards, manage access controls, and conduct audits to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

6.Maintain integrity, performance, and optimization of databases supporting non-ERP applications, including routine backups and disaster recovery planning.

7.Plan and execute technical aspects of non-ERP application projects to ensure delivery within agreed scope, budget, and timelines.

8.Identify opportunities to optimize existing applications and explore emerging technologies that address evolving business needs and improve efficiency.

9.Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and ensure effective knowledge transfer to client or internal teams for ongoing support.

10.Promote effective use of applications through targeted training, timely support, and sustained user engagement strategies.

Education Qualification

a)Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

b)Certification in Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One (preferred).

c)ITIL, Agile, and Project Management certifications (preferred).

d)Certification in Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise, CRM, or Coupa (preferred).

Work Experience

a)Minimum 7 years of experience working on enterprise applications such as Oracle (JD Edwards) etc.

b)Strong knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards modules, Coupa, CRM, POS, and Solace systems.

c)Proven experience in enterprise application management, systems analysis, software engineering, or related IT roles.

d)Experience in roles with supervisory responsibilities.

Skills

a)Strong understanding of enterprise business processes and modules.

b)Hands-on experience in database and application development.

c)Knowledge of integration technologies like SOAP, REST, and Web Services.

d)Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
