Enterprise Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design and alignment of our technology strategy with business objectives. In this role, you will define the overall IT architecture, ensure scalability and efficiency, and provide guidance on technology solutions that drive innovation, optimize performance, and support long-term growth.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and stakeholders to foster a shared understanding of Enterprise Architecture.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and ensure architectural solutions meet business requirements.
  • Lead collaborative efforts to develop Enterprise Architectures, identifying enhancement opportunities through domain-focused sessions.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed strategic roadmap for the evolution of Enterprise Architecture.
  • Enforce and contribute to architectural governance processes, principles, and standards.
  • Identify and assess architectural risks, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for business process improvement and optimization using technology.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of Enterprise Architecture aligned with business requirements.
  • Support modeling and optimization of business processes, functions, and capabilities.
  • Evaluate and select technologies, platforms, and tools supporting Enterprise Architecture.
  • Design and supervise integration of systems and applications ensuring interoperability and data flow.
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to enhance system performance, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Review plans and roadmaps across Business, Application, Information, Technology, and Security domains.
  • Support capacity planning and resource optimization with IT teams.
  • Evaluate and manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment of third-party solutions.
  • Define and implement quality assurance processes for architecture standards.
  • Serve as escalation point for key issues, projects, and architectural decisions.

Functional Competencies

  • Oversight of Enterprise Architecture processes, ensuring adherence to governance standards.
  • Proficiency in modeling and optimizing business processes.
  • Ability to understand business impact of technical decisions.
  • Expertise in identifying and mitigating risks in EA initiatives.
  • Ensuring alignment with Enterprise Architecture principles.

Technical Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in developing Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of business functions, processes, and strategies.
  • Proficiency in creating architectural artifacts (models, diagrams, documentation).
  • Expertise in Cloud Computing platforms.
  • Understanding of data integration, data warehousing, and big data.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of middleware technologies to support communication across applications.

Common Competencies

  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, business units, and IT departments.
  • Problem-solving skills for complex enterprise architecture issues.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • TOGAF certified (mandatory)
  • Experience in Smart cities and Real-estate (Advantage)
