Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to define, govern, and enforce enterprise-wide technology architecture across applications, integrations, cloud platforms, and data ecosystems.
The role will be responsible for establishing architectural standards, ensuring cross-system consistency, and preventing technology fragmentation across platforms such as Oracle Fusion, Yardi, Salesforce, Azure, BI platforms, and future middleware solutions.
The Enterprise Architect will have architectural sign-off authority for major initiatives and will ensure that technology investments align with long-term enterprise strategy, scalability, governance, and operational efficiency.
This is a governance-focused role requiring strong technical credibility. The selected candidate should be capable of reviewing and validating complex solution designs without being involved as a day-to-day engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture Governance
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks
- Define reference architectures for application, integration, cloud, and data architecture
- Establish and lead architecture review processes
- Maintain enterprise architecture documentation repository
- Monitor compliance with approved architecture standards
- Participate in CAB and architecture review board sessions
- Provide mandatory architectural input for major projects and RFP evaluations
Application Portfolio Rationalization
- Review enterprise systems including Oracle Fusion, Yardi, Salesforce, and BI platforms
- Identify functional overlap and redundant system capabilities
- Assess total cost of ownership across the application landscape
- Recommend consolidation and rationalization strategies
- Prevent unnecessary or duplicate system procurement
- Align business capabilities with application capabilities
Integration & Middleware Architecture
- Assess the current point-to-point integration landscape
- Design the target-state enterprise integration architecture
- Lead middleware platform evaluation and selection
- Define API governance standards and integration principles
- Establish event-driven or service-based integration patterns
- Define canonical data models
- Ensure scalability, resilience, and maintainability of the integration layer
Cloud Architecture – Azure
- Define Azure architecture standards and best practices
- Validate cloud workload placement decisions
- Guide high availability, scalability, and cost optimization strategies
- Ensure alignment with security, SASE, and enterprise governance frameworks
Data & Analytics Alignment
- Ensure consistent cross-system data flows
- Align integration architecture with BI and reporting requirements
- Prevent data silos across enterprise applications
- Support enterprise data governance initiatives
Vendor & Procurement Oversight
- Review vendor technical proposals and architecture quality
- Lead technical scoring during RFP evaluations
- Challenge vendor-driven design bias
- Ensure architecture deliverables are clearly defined and enforceable
- Protect the organization from vendor lock-in and non-scalable solutions
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of enterprise IT experience
- 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or Senior Solution Architecture
- Proven experience in multi-application enterprise ecosystems
- Strong integration architecture experience
- Experience with Azure cloud environments
- Experience with ERP and CRM coexistence
- Strong understanding of application, integration, cloud, and data architecture
- Ability to review and approve complex solution designs
