Enterprise Architect - 6 months - Riyadh,KSA

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect for our project that is basically for 6 months and might be extended up to 2 years.

EA Strategy & Strategic Alignment

• Proven ability to develop a formal EA Strategy (vision, pillars, objectives, KPIs).
• Strong experience cascading objectives and KPIs from Business Strategy to Digital Transformation Strategy, then to EA Strategy.
• Demonstrated experience aligning EA outcomes with organizational strategic goals.

EA Operating Model & Organizational Design

• Experience designing different EA models (federated, centralized, hybrid, etc.).
• Ability to design EA operating models, including mandates, services, roles, and responsibilities.
• Experience defining EA organizational structures, job descriptions, service catalogs, and procedures.

Architecture Governance Frameworks

• Strong experience in designing and institutionalizing EA governance frameworks, including committees, escalation paths, and exception handling.
• Ability to embed EA governance into investment, project, and change lifecycles.
• Experience defining governance KPIs and reporting mechanisms.

NORA & National EA Compliance

• Demonstrated working knowledge of the NORA framework, including its pillars, clauses, and assessment requirements.
• Ability to translate NORA requirements into practical EA artifacts, governance models, and evidence suitable for formal assessments and reviews.

EA Processes & Service Design

• Ability to design end-to-end EA processes covering planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
• Experience defining EA services with clear inputs, outputs, SLAs, beneficiaries, and KPIs.

Change Enablement & Stakeholder Management

• Experience designing EA awareness, enablement, and adoption plans.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to position EA as an enabling organizational capability.

Capability Development & Workforce Planning

• Experience assessing EA team capabilities, identifying gaps, and defining capability development and training plans.
• Familiarity with EA competency frameworks and certification pathways.

Performance Management & Reporting

• Experience defining and measuring EA strategic, operational, and impact KPIs.
• Ability to produce EA performance, compliance, and value-realization reports.

EA Tooling & Automation Enablement

• Experience evaluating and enabling EA tools for governance, reporting, automation, and workflow management.
• Understanding of EA repositories, request tracking, and automation mechanisms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of total professional experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Enterprise Architecture experience, preferably within governmental or public-sector environments.
• Prior experience supporting or achieving EA certification for governmental entities is highly preferred.
• EA-related certifications (e.g., TOGAF or equivalent) and demonstrated NORA experience.
• Experience in establishing an Enterprise Architecture Office based on NORA 2 requirements.
• Experience in saudi market (Worked on-site or remotely with saudi clients).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
