We are looking for an Enterprise Technical Architect in Dubai!
Role Purpose
The Enterprise Technical Architect is responsible for providing enterprise-wide architectural leadership for Azadea's digital commerce and omnichannel ecosystem across all countries and brands. He/she owns the architectural vision, governance, and technology standards covering ecommerce, OMS, ERP, CRM, POS, CMS, Loyalty, PIM, AI, data platforms, and integration layers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and govern the enterprise architecture strategy for the Group's omnichannel retail and digital commerce platforms across all countries.
- Design and select business-critical storage, data center, and client/server environments to design solutions in line with industry best practice and provide a third-line point of escalation for appropriate global infrastructure solutions.
- Translate business and commercial priorities into enterprise-level architecture roadmaps, ensuring technology investments support growth and operational excellence. Direct the design and evolution of the end-to-end architecture spanning ecommerce, OMS, ERP, CRM, POS, CMS, Loyalty, PIM, and AI systems.
- Provide authoritative technical leadership on microservices, DDD, EDA, cloud-native architectures, and modern engineering practices.
- Guide engineering, product, and data teams to ensure alignment with architectural blueprints, performance targets, and security requirements.
- Lead architecture for major transformation programs, ensuring delivery against enterprise KPIs, budgets, timelines, and SLAs.
- Drive DevOps, CI/CD, and automation strategies across development teams, ensuring engineering maturity, observability, and risk mitigation.
- Define and govern the AI and data architecture strategy, integrating LLMs, personalization engines, dynamic pricing, and intelligent search into the commerce ecosystem. Oversee data models and integration architectures supporting mission-critical workloads across ecommerce, ERP, CRM, payments, and logistics systems.
- Oversee enterprise data pipelines, streaming architectures, and analytics platforms ensuring compliance with GDPR, ISO 42001, and security policies.
- Architect and govern API-first and event-driven integration strategies using Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, or Kafka.
- Own the cloud architecture direction (Azure preferred), ensuring cost optimization, resilience, disaster recovery, and enterprise-grade security practices.
- Define and enforce security, performance, and availability standards, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as OAuth2.0, SSO, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base, and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Engineering, or a related field Master's degree is a plus.
- 8-10 years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture with large-scale digital commerce or omnichannel transformations, or a similar role.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Proficiency in modern architecture patterns including microservices,
- domain-driven design (DDD), and event-driven architecture (EDA).
