Entry-Level Associate Attorney – Immigration Law

Position Description

We are seeking a newly licensed or early-career attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with limited experience who is eager to build a career in immigration law.

The associate attorney will:

• Represent clients in immigration court and before USCIS under attorney supervision.
• Draft legal briefs, motions, and supporting documents.
• Conduct client consultations and assist in case strategy development.
• Manage a caseload with support from paralegals and staff.
• Learn and apply changes in immigration law and procedures.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (North Carolina Bar preferred or willingness to sit for NC Bar exam).
• Demonstrated interest in immigration law (prior immigration experience is helpful but not required).
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-centered environment with support and guidance.
