If you’re passionate about making a difference and eager to build your legal career while serving others, we’d love to hear from you.

Position Summary:

Sterling Shield Legal is seeking a compassionate and motivated Entry-Level Attorney to join our team. • Assist in preparing legal documents such as petitions, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, under the guidance of senior attorneys.
  • Conduct legal research to assist in case preparation and strategy.
  • Meet with clients to understand their legal needs, provide advice, and help develop case strategies.
  • Participate in the firm’s expansion efforts by assisting with cases in other practice areas as we grow.
  • Attend client meetings, depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver client-centered, high-quality legal services.
  • Engage in pro bono and community outreach initiatives that reflect our mission of helping those with limited resources.

Qualifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Arizona.
  • No prior experience necessary; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A client-focused approach, with empathy and understanding for those in challenging situations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Interest in expanding your practice to other areas of law as the firm grows.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish, etc.) are a plus but not required.

What We Offer:

  • Mentorship and hands-on experience in a supportive, team-based environment.
  • Opportunities for professional growth in a firm committed to serving underserved communities.
  • A diverse, inclusive workplace where you can make a real difference.
