Entry Level Dentist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and have experience in various dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and maintaining accurate medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
• Execute a variety of dental procedures, including root canal therapy, fillings, extractions, and preventive care.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain infection control protocols in compliance with industry standards.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote overall health.
• Manage medical records accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and practices.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license and eligibility to practice dentistry in the state.
• Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required; a passion for working with children is essential.
• Strong understanding of infection control practices within a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.
• From a Korean background or Korean-speaking is preferred but not mandatory.
