Entry-Level Graphic Designer

Position Overview:

White Street Media is seeking a full-time, in-house Entry-Level Graphic Designer who is eager to launch their professional career. This hands-on role involves preparing print and digital designs based on client orders and management-directed projects, with work that is printed, published, and used to market homes across the region, as well as support social media campaigns and other branded initiatives.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects while seeing your work make a direct impact on the company’s success. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, creative, and brings a fresh design perspective, along with a willingness to collaborate and receive feedback.

You’ll work in a team-oriented environment where designers support one another by sharing ideas, templates, and assets as part of the daily workflow. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven role requiring strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality print and digital designs based on client orders, internal requests, and management direction.
  • Present and refine design solutions based on client feedback and internal review, maintaining clear communication and project updates.
  • Develop creative concepts from ideation through final production, ensuring alignment with client brand identities and company quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members via a centralized server to share templates, assets, and best practices for consistent, efficient workflows.
  • Support team operations by gathering client order details and managing entries in our “project queue”.
  • Continuously build skills in Adobe Creative Suite and stay current with design trends, tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related creative field.
  • A diverse portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and imagery.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and clients, including via email.
  • A positive attitude, a fresh design perspective, and a genuine eagerness to learn, receive feedback, and grow professionally.

Not required, but a plus:

  • Production Knowledge: Basic understanding of print production processes, including bleeds, margins, CMYK vs. RGB color modes, and preparing files for print, digital and social media platforms with appropriate sizing and resolution.
  • Project & Workflow Tools: Experience using project management platforms is a plus (we use Monday.com). Familiarity with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets, for collaboration and organization.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
